About

This was a challenging module that pushed the limits of my Unity knowledge within a close to industry environment. Working this module provided me with valuable experience about learning frameworks that were not designed by myself.

The main objective for this module is to design, create and prototype new features and mechanics for the lecturers framework. Building from the existing framework, I added electronic warfare systems as a new feature. This would allow a player or AI to shutdown an opponents weapons for a limited duration during combat.

Alongside creating new mechanics and features, a player campaign for a custom faction consisting of at least five missions was required for the assignment. I decided to create an electronic warfare race that specialise in pre-emptive strikes to protect themselves from aggressive races threatening them. The campaign would involve four strike missions with the final mission being a last man standing mission to protect your home station from the responding attack.

Here is the PowerPoint slides showing my campaign outline and mission design details. The campaign slide gives the background story to the missions. The individual missions give an outline of what the player must do to complete it as well as plan the various events that may happen during the game.
